Loading Pattern Evaluation
Studsvik Scandpower provides loading pattern evaluation services. Along with an existing CMS model (either your own or one set up by Studsvik Scandpower) customers can provide a loading pattern design for evaluation.
The evaluation consists of confirming the loading pattern as well as looking for possible improvements. Some of the various components to the study are:
- Optimization
- Cycle length, Thermal margins, SDM, etc.
- ITC, RIA, Stability, Peaking factors (form factors), Reactivity coefficients, etc.
- Other reactor specific parameters
- The actual refueling design
- BA or Enrichments basis
- Independent Reviews
- Multi-cycle studies & Fuel bid support
